The Experience

What a Session Feels Like

EFT sessions are gentle and collaborative. Your therapist will guide you through identifying a specific issue — a memory, a fear, a physical sensation — and rating its intensity on a scale of 0 to 10.

Together you'll move through the tapping sequence while speaking aloud about what you're experiencing. Many people notice a shift within minutes — a softening, a release, a sense of distance from what felt overwhelming moments before.

EFT is also a skill you can take home. Your therapist will teach you to use it on your own between sessions, giving you a real tool for moments of distress.
